Communication

We have two mailing lists setup, a committee list for those who wish to help put this event together and an announcement list for those who want to be notified of official details of the event. Please feel free to join in!

Current Activities

  • Creating a Kickstarter campaign to raise money
    • Having Blabs members donate money on the initial day ($5 a piece) and spread to their social media circles
    • Having second thoughts about this. Perhaps we can just take donations on the Makevention website
  • Pestering exhibitors to put in their applications
    • Putting all the contacts Jenett has in a mailing list and sending out reminders to sign up coincidentally with the Kickstarter campaign
  • Fill out Facebook page
    • Need to get the IU/PTI and the City on the FB pages (you can get them from the website)
  • BloominglabsBooth

Venue

  • Convention Center - cost $2,000
    • Also use the parking lot across the B-Line and the parking lot across College
    • Also use the B-Line

Insurance
