The 1609 South Rogers warehouse space required a substantial amount of equipment and effort before the location could be usable by Bloominglabs. We understood when we got permission to use the space from the city that this location had a limited lifetime before ultimately it will be torn down as part of the switchyard park. The building is in good shape but it's in the way of the cities long-term plans. The plan at the time of our acquisition is that it would last at least 2-5 years from the start of our lease. With this in mind we need to track all equipment installed in the building in a permanent fashion so that we can reclaim it when we are required to vacate the space.

Equipment installed which needs to be reclaimed when we vacate

The dividing wall installed which separates the office and the workshop was completely funded and installed by Bloominglabs members. Additionally, all 8' fluorescent fixtures installed on the ceiling except for 4 units belong to Bloominglabs. There are many other odds and ends, but this list should include anything Bloominglabs can recoup costs on when vacating.

  • All copper, outlets, and ethernet in the dividing wall
  • Lumber from the dividing wall
  • 17x8' fluorescent light fixtures
  • Conduit and copper wire connecting all ceiling mounted fixtures
  • Any 4' fluorescent light fixtures
  • Workshop outlets, conduit, and copper along south and west walls (up to within 16' of the south door).
  • Door closers
  • Door security components (steel plate gap covers, security pins, etc)
  • Electric door strikes
  • Outdoor east-wall motion light
  • Battery backup security lights over north and south doors

Original components which belong to the building / city

  • Two ceiling fans belong to the city
  • Exit signs
